Arabian Chicken with Tahini Sauce

I love cooking, eating and sharing as a family, but what I like most is not to waste food. I bought the famous roasted chicken from BJs, very good. My daughter and I enjoyed it, but the problem is that we had over half leftover, so I decided to use it the next day as an appetizer and this was what I did:

Arabian Chicken with Tahini Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 roasted chicken and shredded
  • 1/2 cup of tahini sauce
  • 6 heads of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil … or more, is up to you.
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of Arabic acid salt.

Instructions:

  1. Shred the chicken.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix all the other ingredients, and add water according to the thickness of the sauce. This should be creamy.
  3. Combine the chicken with the sauce all together and mix it.

Tips:

  • Add more salt and water if you see it needs it, but take into account that it should be creamy as it appears in my photo below.
  • Garnish with olive oil when serving and you can eat it with Arabic pita bread.

Me encanta cocinar, comer y compartir en familia, pero lo que mas me gusta es no desperdiciar comida. A ver les cuento…Compre el famoso pollo a la brasa de BJs, muy rico, lo disfrutamos mi hija y yo, pero el problema es que nos sobro la mitad, asi que decidi usarlo al dia siguiente como aperitivo y esto fue lo que hize.

Pollo con salsa Arabe de Tahine:

Ingredientes:

  • 1/2 pollo en brasa y desmenuzado
  • 1/2 taza de salsa de tahine
  • 6 cabezas de ajo bien picaditas
  • 1/4 taza de aceite de oliva…o mas, es al gusto.
  • Una pizca de sal
  • Una pizca de sal acida arabe

Instrucciones:

  1. Desmenuzar el pollo.
  2. En un bowl aparte, mexclar todos los demas ingredientes, e ir agregando agua deacuerdo a lo espeso de la salsa. Esta debe quedar cremosa.
  3. Combinar el pollo con la salsa todo junto.

Tips:

  • Agrega mas sal y agua al gusto, pero toma en cuenta que debe quedar cremoso como aparece en mi foto.
  • Decoralo con aceite de oliva al servir y lo puedes comer con pan pita Arabe.
